Facility Management as a professional management discipline focuses on the efficient and effective delivery of support services to ensure smooth operations of a real estate property.
It encompasses multiple disciplines to ensure functionality, comfort, safety and efficiency of the built environment by integrating people, place, process and technology.
With India’s own domestic growth and burgeoning interest from Multi Nationals in India, the Facilities Management discipline is only bound to grow year on year.

The program is delivered keeping in mind the requirements of a working professional, so that you are able to experience the program with no disturbance to the responsibilities of your job. The course is delivered in a hybrid method with a part of the course being delivered through online lectures and the experiential learning is delivered on campus at the RUAS campus in Bangalore.
Eligibility
The PGDFM program welcomes applications from graduates from any UGC approved universities. While we believe that graduates from all streams may find the program useful, candidates with degrees in Engineering, Hotel Management, Business Management and the Sciences will be given preference. Graduates will be required to demonstrate a 45% aggregate score in their stream of graduation.

The rich experience that candidates bring to the course help enhance the learning process. We encourage candidates with work experience to demonstrate their learning during their application process.
Duration
The PGDFM course at RUAS is conducted over a period of 11 months, split into 3 trimesters.
