Professional Housekeepers Association Student Chapter - PHA YUVA

  • Date

    9:30 AM – 5:30 PM

FHMCT students and a few Housekeeping Faculty are members of a national professional association called PHA, Professional Housekeepers Association. Ms. Vineeta and Ms. Sandhya Anilkumar have actively participated, organized and have got multiple opportunities to learn and grow with the association. The student chapter of PHA called PHA YUVA made a presentation in August to FHMCT students and 15 students from the Faculty have registered as members with the club. It is extremely beneficial to students as YUVA organizes industry interactions, field trips, competitions, seminars where will be given the opportunity to learn, innovate, synergize, conduct research with fellow students from other hotel schools and also seek help in placements in accommodations related industries.

PHA YUVA is conducting a convention on 19th November 2022 which will witness the participation of only the members of the club. The 5th anniversary of YUVA is being celebrated. This event will have a participation from colleges across Tamil Nādu, Kerala, Telangana and industry leaders from many sectors like Facility Management, Hotels, Airlines, Airport, CruiseLine and Hospitals. Our members will be baking goodies and we will be offering them to the industry leaders to showcase FHMCT. Thanks to our Dean — FHMCT and the Food and Beverage production team.

FHMCT students and Faculty are involved with the event as mentioned below:
